Climate Generation matches Midwest youth and veteran climate organizers in co-mentorship on the premise that cross-generational collaboration and organizing grounded in authentic relationship will help us innovate just and sustainable climate change solutions.

Our mentorship programming is unique in that it matches pairs in an egalitarian exchange where both participants are valued as teachers and learners. Our Mentorship Toolkit provides a suite of guided activities to support self reflection and strategic conversation.

About Our Program

Working in partnership with the RE-AMP Network, our program engages representatives from 20+ organizations a year across 8 Midwest states. Participants are matched in the same state, based on their area of interest, their expertise, and their need. Our Mentorship Toolkit guides participants through a progression of activities that supports individual goal setting, rapport-building, self-reflection, and feedback. Pairs report back online via the RE-AMP Commons to support shared learning across the group. Emergent themes are identified by program staff who facilitate further exploration through group calls and interactive online formats.
