How is climate change impacting what you value in your community?

How can you join with your neighbors to implement local solutions?

At our 12 statewide public convenings, participants will:

  • Develop an understanding of how climate change has and will impact their community through a unique combination of scientific expertise and local storytelling;
  • Learn about local resources and organizations focused on energy efficiency, sustainability, and other efforts to address climate change;
  • Make a commitment to a local and specific climate change solution that will be supported by community resources. Solutions will contribute to the mitigation and adaptation of impacts, as well as to building community resilience.

The convenings will take place starting in April 2015 and will run through April 2016.

All convenings are free and open to the public.

All members of the community are welcome at the convenings, including farmers, city officials, business owners, community groups, artists, ethnic groups, scientists, teachers, faith groups and youth.
