Our core programming is grounded in personal storytelling, public organizing, and education to engage in solutions to climate change.
From professional development to public workshops, we offer trainings that empower individuals to incorporate climate change solutions into their daily workflow and life.
Youth Environmental Activists Minnesota (YEA! MN) empowers high school students as powerful stakeholders to take coordinated action for a just transition to a resilient climate future for all.
Over the years, we have developed a model and method for hosting public convenings on climate change. Through sharing knowledge from local experts and stories of individuals engaged in climate change, convenings inspire local action.
The Initiative is a collaboration between organizations and businesses in the Twin Cities metro that works directly with students, educators, businesses, and community partners to create equitable pathways to green jobs.
We have a history of sending delegations of youth, teachers, and multi-sector representatives to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s annual Conference of the Parties (COP).
