Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to attend the whole event?
No! We would love for you to attend as much as possible, but join us whenever you are able.

What apps / software will I need to participate?
We will use Zoom, Slack, and Google Docs/Slides for this event. Trainings and drop-in hours will be available prior to the Summit if they are new for you. If you anticipate struggles with these apps, let us know when you register.

Will we meet legislators on video?
Yes! By now, legislators are used to virtual government. They’re happy to connect with the people they represent through video calls. When you register, we will arrange your meeting with your legislator and other students in your area. Please note any scheduling restrictions and we will try to accommodate.

Are youth outside Minnesota invited?
Yes! Some of the workshops will focus on MN climate justice solutions, but youth can decide which workshops they attend. If you register from outside MN, we will not schedule legislator meetings for you.
