Calling Minnesota youth, grades 6-12! Come on out for a free youth-led summit on environmental sustainability and local climate change solutions, Friday April 27, 8:30-2:30 at the University of Minnesota St Paul Campus. The Summit is hosted by Youth Environmental Activists Minnesota(YEA! MN), a program of the Will Steger Foundation, in partnership with the University of MN Institute on the Environment.
The agenda will feature a keynote address by internationally renowned polar explorer Will Steger, youth run workshops focused on composting, pollution reduction, renewable energy, and fundraising strategies for student initiatives, as well as workshops from partnering organizations including the Center for Energy and the Environment, Grand Aspirations, and MN350.
The Summit will include a multi-disciplinary solutions approach with music and theater woven throughout the day. Free lunch is provided.

MN) is a program of the Will Steger Foundation, connecting Twin Cities metro youth to facilitate shared skills and strategies and take coordinated action towards environmental sustainability. A youth-driven network of high school environmental clubs, YEA! MN includes 20+ public, private and charter high schools from a cross-section of urban and suburban districts.
