A two-year climate change education project is launching throughout Minnesota.
State and local environmental groups are traveling to 12, including Duluth, to raise awareness and find local solutions to the problem.
“It’s a really scary issue and it would be great if we could all believe it’s not happening, but it is. And we don’t need to look at what’s happening in the future; we can just look at the last 30 years in Minnesota,” said Kristen Poppleton, an organizer with Climate Generation: A Will Steger Legacy.
The awareness campaign is a partnership between the University of Minnesota and Climate Generation: A Will Stegar Legacy.
